The brain goes through four steps over and over at a very fast rate. First we perceive the world, say an animal is looking for food. Then we are either afraid or wanting to like what we see, say an animal either wants to avoid or eat it. Next we think about what we want or should do according to past experiences or learn from others, so say the animal recognizes that it is indeed poison or food. The last step is to act, say the animal starts to eat the perceived food. Then say the animal perceives that it tastes weird, the animal will back off and go thru the steps again and perhaps decides to back off.

Personalities are the result of the different configurations of widgets. If the perceptual widgets are

seeing things that are unreal, say from hearing lies and seeing deceptions, the emotional step of the brain is incorrect for the real world as is the thinking and doing. If the perceptions is fine but the person is over afraid or not afraid enough their thinking and actions will be off. If the first two steps are incorrect thinking and doing are not right, and if the first three steps are wrong so are actions.

It also works the other way. If we only do certain things, like sports, we are unaware or do not perceive other things. I our thinking is negative we tend to see, feel, think and do negative things. If we are depressed we may not see, feel, think, or do much of anything. We are born with different strengths of each steps. We may be born blind, or have no love or too much fear, perhaps we can not think clearly, or are handicapped and in a wheel chair. We will then perceive, feel, think, and act differently than perhaps those around us.

By nature, we tend to use our Upper Natures more, that is perceive as clearly as possible, seek out loving experiences, think before we act to maximize our happiness and the happiness of those around us, and carry out actions that help us and other feel safe and happy. But if we are overly afraid from birth, learn to be afraid, or are born paranoid, or are in a dangerous environment our Lower Nature, which will lie, be selfish, blame others, or be aggressive may take over and be stronger than our Upper Natures making us rebellious or otherwise less than what our Upper Nature would of been. By messing with our steps people can manipulate us. They can lie, scare or love us, give us false or workable beliefs, and abuse or help us. This will change our four step bigger or smaller, making the widgets weaker or stronger. Abused animals, children, or adults will struggle more with their lower natures.

Groups of people, a conglomeration of different configurations of widgets, or steps, can have personalities, such as taverns, churches, sports, wars, etc. So what is presented below, personalities of people, can pertain to groups of people, depending on who is in them, their experiences, their beliefs, and what tasks they do. The pics above are discussing sharing with others.
